Hot take: The cascada was a perfectly fine car that was, as is usual, marketed horribly. Buick’s cars of the past 5-10 years have been some of the best in their segments and they have no clue how to make people notice them. The cascada was a better version of the sebring/200 convertible that sold 5 digit units yearly for something like 15 years. I don’t think anyone else is doing the FWD 4-seater convertible anymore. Buick had the only one.

over christmas younger family members were talking about her(at first didn’t know she was a she) and I had no idea of wtf they were talking about.

They were talking about Halsey at work - I work for the Navy, so my brain jumped to Admiral Bull Halsey. Needless to say I was confused for a bit because I wasn't aware that he was also a suscessful recording artist.
